• Sandhya's review of Twist, a collection of yoga poems by Janet Wong appears in the Jan-Feb '08 issue of Yoga Plus Joyful Living.
• Sandhya's blog post "Kaavya Viswanathan: Unconscious Copycat or Plagiarist" will be anthologized in a forthcoming edition of Holt, Rinehart, and Winston's Elements of Literature.

• November 29, 2007: Sandhya was a guest editor at the Young Authors Editing Day Conference on Nov. 29, 2007 at Westchester Boces. She will also be a presenter at the Annual Young Authors Conference on March 17, 2008.
Writing magazine, which Sandhya edited from April 2004 to May 2007, was a Golden Lamp Award finalist [more] for the 2006 Association of Educational Publishers awards. The publication also received six Distinguished Achievement Award nominations, including "Periodical of the Year." In June of 2007, the magazine won 3 distinguished achievement awards, including one for Sandhya's Interview/Profile—“Meet a Fantasy Legend: Ursula K. LeGuin."
April 26-29, 2007: Sandhya was a panelist at DesiLit's second annual Kriti Festival in Chicago. [Check out the festival program and panel descriptions here.
April 20, 2007: Sandhya read her essay "Children of a Coup" at the Asian American Writer's Workshop, NYC. The reading was part of "An Evening of Short Readings to Benefit the South Asian Women's Creative Collective." [Read the essay.]
